The training begins to climb Mt. Adams in late July. I love to work out and this will give me some added incentive to pick up the pace and to work on monitoring my diet more closely. One of the gyms I use has a cardio climbing wall and it can be a very humbling experience. The first time I used it I learned the hard way not to remove all the resistance before I got into a rhythm as I hit my shin hard on the bottom. I have already started using the stair master in my boots and get some great looks from people, will be adding the pack next week and I bet people in Louisiana will get a kick out of that!
